Jazz In Vaux – Papa, maman, Elora et Justine
From folk (Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young) to French chanson, including jazz with detours into rock (Queen, the Beatles, etc.), the quartet holds back nothing. Thanks to its "family" timbre, it demonstrates an undeniable vocal and rhythmic homogeneity. From this pleasure of being together came the idea of a show "Papa, maman, Elora et Justine." The father, Jean-Michel, directs the vocal arrangements and accompanies the trio of singers on guitar, the mother, Patricia Ouvrard, recognized on the national scene as one of the most prodigious jazz vocalists of her generation, and her two daughters, Elora and Justine. On stage, the joyful complicity gives an extra touch of soul to this colorful repertoire.
Elora Antolin is no stranger to the Vaux-sur-Mer audience. Last year, with the Canto Jazz do Brazil quartet, she delivered a highly sensitive, moving, invigorating, and surprising performance.
