Under his influence, rural space and the maritime world come together. The hilly slopes of Gironde, covered with vines and cereals, end on the white cliffs which dominate the river. Further upstream, there are natural marshes, a refuge for wildlife. Along the coast from Royan, you will treat yourself to an architectural stroll: "Belle Epoque" villas with geometric and pure lines from the 50s.
Then you will cross the forest of Suzac, link between the maritime domain and the fluvial domain, and, will dive in the heart of a vegetation with the Mediterranean pace where strawberry trees and cork oaks rub shoulders with maritime pines and holm oaks. You will discover superb panoramas over the estuary and the lands where the famous "pineau and cognac" are born, but also the local Charente wines which are beginning to make a name for themselves.
