Each evening, the festival's symphony orchestra, conducted by Jérôme Pillement, accompanies five to six soloists, including soprano Pretty Yende, tenor Cyrille Dubois, pianist Arielle Beck, violinist Bomsori, cellist Astrig Siranossian, and singer Candice Parise.
The Violin on the Sand allows young and old alike to enjoy these musical evenings freely, facing the ocean. Royan beach then becomes one of the largest and most beautiful open-air concert venues.
The "Un Violon sur la Ville" festival, held off the main symphonic concerts, offers a multitude of events in various unusual locations in Royan and the surrounding towns from July 23rd to August 1st.
