What would have happened if the characters in the stories had had a bicycle?

Honoring the legacy of their late parents, Jean-Guibole Duguidon and Marcelle de la Virgule-Bien-Placée, sisters Ernestine and Gigote take advantage of their wheeled expeditions to reflect on this question.

The Tour de France, Paris-Roubaix, the ascent of the Galibier or the descent of the Tourmalet, all these are opportunities to combine high-flying cycling techniques and acrobatic associations of ideas…
Cinderella, Goldilocks, Sleeping Beauty and Little Red Riding Hood are revisited with songs, patches, handlebars and other horns.
Set against a vintage backdrop, Cloé Laurendeau and Amélie Piat take turns embodying the Frangines and the characters from the chosen tales, each bringing their own personality and talents to serve the rhythm and the narrative:

Live music (vocals, guitar, ukulele, looper), burlesque, bicycle acrobatics,
object manipulation, stage installations, suspended stories…
And as always at La Baraque à plume, the public is also invited to participate in the adventure.

And if there is one lesson to be learned from all this, it is that SITTING ON A SADDLE, LIFE IS BETTER!
