« RICOCHETS » : Balades littéraire et gourmande

Sunday, July 19 at 11:00 p.m.

17120 Mortagne-sur-Gironde

“RICOCHETS”: A literary stroll, where delicious words and flavors ricochet.

What is "Ricochets"? In the familiar setting of the heart of Mortagne, the port of La Rive, Roseline Giusti offers a unique literary stroll. She will be accompanied by Françoise Barbin-Lécrevisse for gourmet tastings (caviar, smoked meagre, pineau tart, etc.). As the walk unfolds, unexpected poetic images, written for other lands and in other circumstances, will ricochet off the canal and its gentle landscapes, the basin and the lock, the dry dock and the mill, the postcard museum…

The pleasure of casting words like small stones into water, creating new and exotic visions in concentric circles. The pleasure, too, of savoring the riches of our land.

A moment of sharing between words and treats…

And, a meeting of two sensibilities: Museum curator and then associate professor at the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne, art and design critic, exhibition curator, Roseline Giusti has a multifaceted writing practice linked to her varied activities. The short form remains the dominant feature. She loves the unusual and the unexpected, the creative detail, the powerful dreams that inspire writing, the sound of words, the beauty of landscapes, invigorating colors, and people's lives.

Member of the Angoumois Academy, Françoise Barbin-Lécrevisse is the author of numerous culinary works, a columnist, a specialist in the Charente region, and participates in the collective approach of the association Les savoir-faire du cognac to have this unique spirit recognized as part of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage.
