In the 1950s, a large bourgeois house in the countryside: preparations are underway for Christmas. But tragedy strikes: the master of the house is murdered. Eight women close to the victim—wife, daughters, sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, mistress, and nanny—are present, and one of them is undoubtedly the culprit. Thus begins a long day of investigation, filled with arguments, betrayals, and revelations, where it quickly becomes clear that each woman has her reasons and is hiding unsuspected secrets. The truth will ultimately come to light, cruel and tragic, shattering all pretenses and facades.
