Robinson Khoury is definitely one of the revelations of the jazz scene! Endowed with a superlative instrumental technique on the trombone, he brings an oriental-tinged lyricism to the melodies he takes on, as well as to his incredible improvisations.
Already noted for his previous collaborations (Ibrahim Maalouf, Natacha Atlas, Metropole Orchestra, Théo Ceccaldi), he made a name for himself with the groups SARAB and Octotrip. He also established himself as a composer and vocalist. After a well-received second album (Broken Lines – a Charles Cros favorite in 2022), he is already embarking on a new chapter with a trio called MŸA, where he is joined by Léo Jassef on keyboards and percussionist/singer Anissa Nehari.
MŸA is co-produced by Jazz sous les Pommiers, Colore, and Le Petit Duc (Aix-en-Provence).
