To mark the centenary of the birth of the brilliant pianist and composer Thelonious Monk, this new album by Laurent de Wilde is entirely dedicated to him.

His compositions are revisited and arranged for a dynamic acoustic trio comprised of Jérôme Regard on double bass, Gautier Garrigue on drums, and Laurent de Wilde on piano. They offer a contemporary interpretation of the pianist's work, demonstrating that his modernity transcends time and continues to profoundly influence the essential values ​​of music.
