Vincent Munier, a French photographer born in 1976 in the Vosges Mountains, has been passionate about wildlife since childhood. Inspired by minimalist art and Japanese prints, he photographs animals in their natural environment with patience, discretion, and respect, favoring immersion and subtlety. His work has taken him from the forests of the Vosges to the high plateaus of Tibet and the Arctic.
His exhibition, The Art of Patience, is an invitation to slow down and contemplate the fragile beauty of the wild world. He is also co-director of the films The Snow Leopard (César Award for Best Documentary 2022) and The Song of the Forests (César Award for Best Documentary 2026; César Award for Best Sound 2026), and founder of Kobalann publishing.
