Exposition cabane du Patrimoine – Arcobelli

"At an international pastel exhibition, I was amazed by the beauty and the effect of these works, each illuminated by a neon light, giving that characteristic and realistic powdery luminosity of pastels!!!"

I immediately tested myself and, encouraged by my teacher at the Saintes drawing school, I threw myself into it… One or two years of pastel technique and several workshops, notably with Gisèle Hurtaud… then with master pastel artists… in order to gain more confidence and refine my technique…

Since 2009, I've held my exhibitions at the heritage hut on the pretty little port of L'Eguille-sur-Seudre! I'll be there again this year, from August 3rd to 9th…

I love this peaceful place…

What fascinates me about this pastel technique is its powdery finish, especially on faces where the skin tone is rendered realistically… pastel sticks can also be vibrant or soft depending on the subject being depicted, and you can express everything with this magical technique!!!
