Café littéraire – L’huître dans les arts et la littérature

For the first time, the oyster will be the subject of a lecture linking literature and painting. This original topic will be illustrated by a rich slideshow featuring works by great painters from the 17th to the 21st centuries. Why has it been painted so often? For whom and why? Under what circumstances? Readings of beautiful texts by great writers about the oyster will punctuate this lecture.
