Bourse aux Jouets du Collectif Caritatif du Canton La Tremblade

The main purpose of this event is to provide food aid to people in dire need in the canton. The proceeds from the toy sale are used exclusively to fund part of this food aid.

Each year more than 55 tonnes of food are distributed to more than 350 people living in the communes of the canton (ARVERT, LA TREMBLADE, Les MATHES, BREUILLET, ETAULES, MORNAC, CHAILLEVETTE, St AUGUSTIN)

At each distribution (every two weeks) a complete food parcel is given to each person: fresh vegetables, dairy products, fresh or frozen fish or meat, as well as grocery products for a total of 8 to 10 kg per person.

Founded over 40 years ago, the collective is still supported today by Secours Catholique and the Protestant association, which have representatives on the board of directors. Their shared commitment guarantees local, responsive, and transparent action.
