Aurore Voilque Quartet

A talented jazz violinist who began playing at just four years old, she has since distinguished herself in Gypsy jazz. She draws inspiration from the guitar virtuoso Django Reinhardt, as well as the violinist Stéphane Grappelli. Gradually, the young artist became independent and decided to form her own group, the Aurore Quartet, in 2003. She then embarked on the adventure of self-production, approaching Parisian restaurants to earn a living.

When Aurore switches from violin to singing with "45, just a parenthesis"

Gradually, the musician made contacts and met Thomas Dutronc, who, impressed by her talent, regularly invited her to perform on stage. This obvious connection was reflected in the lineup of Thomas Dutronc's album, "Live is Love," released in 2018. Today, Aurore Voilqué accompanies him everywhere, becoming a full-fledged artist on the singer's tour.

For her part, Aurore Voilqué also took the plunge into the world of vocal jazz with her first sung album, "45, juste une parenthèse" (45, Just a Parenthesis), released on October 11, 2024. It's an intimate glimpse into her daily life as a 45-year-old single mother searching for her place in the world.
