10ème Marathon Royan U Côte de Beauté

The Marathon is an unmissable sporting event. Its 42,195 km course runs along the Atlantic Ocean and crosses the most beautiful landscapes of the coast, between beaches, cliffs and iconic seaside resorts like Pontaillac or St-Georges-de-Didonne.
Friendly and accessible, it brings together amateurs and experienced players every year in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
A half-marathon, a 10km race and races for children accompany this event.
Friday the 22nd, from 14:00 PM to 19:00 PM
– Opening of the Marathon Village
Saturday 23 from 10:00 p.m. to 23:00 p.m.
– 10:00 AM to 19:00 PM: Opening of the Marathon Village
– 4:00 PM: Start of children's races: The Larks – 400 m (16/6 years) / The Seagulls – 800 m (7/9 years) / The Gulls – 1,5 km (10/11 years) / The Albatrosses – 2,4 km (12/13 years) / The Herons – 3,2 km (14/15 years)
– 18:00 PM: Children's race podium ceremony
– 19:30 p.m.: Bandas, DJ set and pasta party
Sunday the 24th from 7:30 am to midnight
– 7:30 am: start of the marathon – 42,195 km – Circuit of 2 loops, towards Vaux-sur-Mer, then Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, and back to Royan for the finish.
– 8:30 am: start of the 10 km race – 1 loop circuit, towards Vaux-sur-Mer
– 9:30 a.m.: Start of the half-marathon – 21,097 km – Same course as the marathon but on 1 loop
– 10:30 am: 10 km podium ceremony
– 12:30 pm: podium ceremony for the half marathon and marathon
– 20:00 PM: festive evening
