Les Régates de Royan

Join the Royan Regatta Club to share your passion for sailing in a friendly and sporting atmosphere. Affiliated with the French Sailing Federation, this club welcomes sailors of all levels, from the youngest beginners to experienced crews. Following the rhythm of the tides, discover the joy of gliding on the water at a school renowned for its expertise.

During school holidays, there's a wide range of options for heading out onto the ocean:

– Get started through workshops: register for week-long sessions from age 6 or discover the wonders of the Sea Garden from age 4
– Experience the thrill: opt for a first-time experience, a private lesson, or try wingfoiling and windsurfing.
– Rent equipment: catamarans, dinghies, kayaks or stand-up paddleboards are available for exploring the bay freely (wetsuits provided)

Throughout the year, the club also offers regular support:

– Sailing at the sports school: training in Optimist dinghies or recreational catamaran sailing every Saturday
– Learn to sail: get an introduction to crewed sailing aboard a 9-meter sailboat
– Participating in sailing for all: accessing adapted activities, particularly for people with disabilities

Whether you choose the competition or a leisurely ride, you can enjoy an exceptional setting facing the Cordouan Lighthouse to fully experience the Atlantic.
