Le Petit Trot Cormillon, a friendly family place, welcomes you between the vineyards and the banks of the Seudre, to introduce your children, teenagers, or yourself to leisure horse riding on a pony or horse and the surrounding natural space.
Le Petit Trot Cormillon is a leisure equestrian center open year-round to all. We promote a wide variety of equestrian activities for as many people as possible, whether regulars or holidaymakers, children or adults. We offer horses for riding outdoors for riders of all ages and levels, during lessons, courses, trail rides, and treks.
– Classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays all year round
– Course during school holidays (All Saints' Day, Christmas, winter, spring and summer holidays) from 6 years old to gallop 4
– Pony baptism from 3 years old
– Organization of privatized horseback rides and hikes in the Pays Royannais for beginners or experienced riders
We can also organize on request:
– horse mediation and equi-therapy workshops for individuals, leisure centers, schools, summer camps, rehabilitation and accommodation centers, spa guests, children's homes, etc.
– tailor-made services for your events: birthday, bachelorette party, wedding, fair, commercial events, etc.
Sustainable tourism: Social and robust animals, our ponies live in herds in the surrounding meadows and pastures without stabling.
The structures and installations present on the site are reduced to the strict minimum in order to reduce the ecological footprint of our activities.
In an ecological approach, we do not use water or electricity from the domestic network.
We raise awareness among people about respecting and caring for their mount so that a fair, mutual relationship can be established between the animal and the rider.
Portrait: Our BPJEPS-qualified instructor, Émilie Lenfant, offers a fun teaching method, combining play and technique, so that children and adolescents can flourish through contact with animals.
Whether in class or on a ride, she listens to the riders and encourages them to progress and develop their self-confidence while respecting the person and the horse.
