About
We set sail with the Royan Nautical Club for a sporty and stimulating sailing experience on cruising sailboats. Between official regattas and rallies, we share a common passion for the ocean and the great outdoors in the heart of the Gironde estuary.
The Royan Nautical Club was born from a shared desire among racers and recreational sailors to enjoy sailing in a sporty and fun way on cruising sailboats. With a dynamic community of over 70 enthusiasts, the club offers a full calendar of 12 official regattas throughout the year.
We also take advantage of friendly and occasional outings to explore the gems of the territory.
We set course for the Cordouan Lighthouse, explore the Gironde estuary or sail off the Pointe de Grave for the pleasure of sailing.
Whether you're a beginner, crew member, or experienced skipper, you can always find a berth to enjoy an authentic maritime experience. The club encourages the exchange of skills and allows everyone to progress at their own pace, following the rhythm of the tides and winds.
