Centre de Tourisme Équestre – L'Étrier Ronçois

Located near La Tremblade and the Royan basin, the L'Étrier Ronçois equestrian tourism center opens the doors of horseback riding to everyone. Children from 3 years old, adults and seniors will find here an outdoor activity adapted to all levels, from the first contact with a horse to occasional riding.

Even without prior experience, discovering horseback riding is a safe and enjoyable experience during a first introductory session led by qualified instructors holding the BPJEPS (Brevet Professionnel de la Jeunesse, de l'Éducation Populaire et du Sport) qualification in riding and equestrian tourism. Professional guidance and personalized attention ensure a reassuring and gradual approach.

The groups welcome both beginner and experienced riders, with a focus on sharing and safety. The pace is adapted to the beginners' level, with outings conducted exclusively at a walk, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the experience.

Appropriate attire is required for comfort and safety. Essential equipment, such as hairnets and helmets, is provided on site. Themed outings, particularly for hen or stag parties, can be arranged after prior approval, always in compliance with safety regulations.

In the heart of a preserved natural environment, L'Étrier Ronçois offers an original and gentle way to discover the landscapes of Charente-Maritime, between forest, sandy paths and iodine air.

Our structure welcomes your horses and ponies in temporary boarding (hay and water at will) and only has individual or group shaded parks.

From 12/11/2025 to 31/12/2026, open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and weekends. Closed Monday and Thursday.
Hours are non-contractual and vary depending on the time of year.
All our services require booking at least 48 hours in advance.
