It is in the Gironde estuary, the largest in Europe with 635 km², that I invite you to discover the lean, emblematic fish of the estuary, which comes to reproduce there. This magnificent fish, which can regularly reach more than 50 kilos, delivers an intense fight during which you will never be sure of the outcome.
We will also fish for bass, speckled bass or horse mackerel, mackerel, depending on the conditions and the mood of the fish.
The Cordouan plateau, where the lighthouse of the same name is located, the first lighthouse classified as a historical monument, is also home to many fish, which we can try to catch with different techniques, surface lures, soft lures, tenya and madaï.
For sport fishing enthusiasts, from August to October we can practice fishing for bluefin tuna with hunting lures. This intense and exciting fishing is only done with weather conditions allowing you to go offshore in complete safety. Surface attacks and powerful fights make bluefin tuna the sport fish par excellence on our coasts.
