Escape along the Seudre River with Canoë Kayak Saujon. Between leisurely paddles on calm waters and exploring the marshes, discover exceptional flora and fauna. In summer, try waveskiing for a thrilling experience from a young age.
Based at the port of Ribérou in Saujon, the association, affiliated with the French Canoe-Kayak Federation, invites you to explore the area from two perspectives. You can choose the freshwater side for a wild paddle through the heart of the Charente countryside, or opt for the saltwater side to venture into the marshes and observe the typical life of the estuary.
Between hiking, canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard rentals, the paddling school offers activities for all levels. In July and August, you can take advantage of introductory lessons or 3- to 5-day courses to learn waveskiing. Equipment is provided, and a van provides transportation from Saujon to the surf spots.
Kayaking is available for children aged 8 and up, while younger children can try waveskiing from age 6. It's the perfect opportunity to share an authentic sporting activity amidst the unspoiled landscapes of the Seudre River.
