In an exceptional setting in the heart of the Coubre national forest, the Royan Atlantique Racing Association organizes 13 horse racing meetings per year on its racecourse, including the prestigious Trophée Vert with the best French drivers.
The Hippodrome Royan Atlantique enjoys an ideal location, surrounded by greenery, a surrounding forest and close to the beaches, thus offering an exceptional natural setting. The racecourse is the leading training center in France for results in the discipline of obstacle galloping and also organizes horse racing meetings.
Every year, the racecourse organises 13 horse racing meetings in three disciplines: trotting, flat racing and obstacle racing, attracting around 20 spectators between April and September. It is a place where emotions come to life, offering a pleasant moment to share with family or friends. Many free activities are offered to children throughout the season, making the visit even more attractive.
The racecourse also offers themed days, such as those around equine well-being or elegance, as well as prestigious events, such as the Trophée Vert, a trotting competition bringing together the best French drivers.
Since May 2024, the racecourse is proud to be labeled “EquuRES”, a unique label certifying respect for equine welfare and the environment within racecourses.
Thanks to its user-friendly layout, enjoy a real immersion: everything is nearby: the stands, the betting hall, the snack bar, the restaurant, the presentation circle, the tracks and the activities for children.
