Mortagne sur Gironde

Point de vue – Le Port de Mortagne-sur-Gironde

Let yourself be pleasantly seduced by an indefinable atmosphere due to the exceptional luminosity and the charm brought by the sailboats and the local stone houses which surround the basin.

Postcard Museum and Ermitage Saint-Martial.
Nothing is obviously spectacular here, but everything exudes balance and serenity.

Its location near cliffs and marshes offers a superb view of the channel. The buildings that surround it, such as the flour mill, are part of the historical heritage of the port.

From the “river” we access the wet basin via a channel of approximately one kilometer. The wet basin can accommodate pleasure craft from 5 to 19 meters (average water height: 3 m – 2,30 m minimum).

It offers 200 berths on pontoons, including 20 for visitors.
