Love letters by Albert Gurney performed by Josiane COULANGE and Philippe CAVAGNE from the company l'Atelier des Belles Choses
When they exchanged their first letter, Melissa and Andy were only 8 years old. Their exchanges will last more than 50 years! Destiny, life, encounters brought them together and then pushed them apart. They never stopped writing to each other. Throughout their exchanges, we feel the playful friendship of childhood, the passion of adolescence, the complexity of feelings mixed with the hopes and disillusions of adulthood. Mélissa and Andy's epistolary relationship is at once funny, tender and overwhelmingly real. A hymn to love and the difficulty of loving.
Staged numerous times in the theater, Love letters has been performed, among others, by Anouk Aimé, Jacques Weber, Mylène Demongeot and Jean Piat
