Extended weekend, take advantage of the May weekends!

The weather decides for us the program of the day. In May, the sun and the mildness are back. Why not take the opportunity to take a dip? At low tide, you can tease the shrimp in the rocks or get your fill of sensations in a sand yacht on the immense fine sandy beaches.

In spring, flora and fauna are on the alert. We dive into the heart of our forests to observe them. Not a sound. We find ourselves alone, in communion with nature. The typical fresh and resinous smell of pines intoxicates us. The forest trails have some nice surprises in store for us and spectacular views of the ocean.

As a seafood lover, the coast is the perfect place to sample fresh produce. The ports on the banks of the Seudre offer us a picturesque setting with their wooden huts near the clears, in the heart of the oyster basin of Marennes-Oléron.

By bicycle, we criss-cross the surroundings. We cross varied landscapes: forest, marshes, fields to reach seaside resorts or listed villages. Along the Vélodyssée® route, take a break on the beach for an invigorating swim!

If the sea is still a little too cool for us, we opt for a kayak trip on the Seudre estuary. By getting lost in the maze of the marsh, we discover wild vegetation and a rich biodiversity. A relaxing experience, perfect for recharging your batteries.
